GREENBRIDGE DESIGN CENTER
Terraforma Architecture is permitting a new 8,500 square foot design center in Oregon City, Oregon. It will showcase green building products for the construction industry, primarily focused on interior finishes.
The building will be “net zero energy” meaning that it will require no electricity to operate. The walls will be built with insulated concrete block, ICF, which has an R value of over 40. The roof will have solar panels in conjunction with a green roof. The storm water will be reclaimed for the water feature and irrigation system. All interior finishes will be non-toxic and from recycled content where possible. The project will showcase the latest in climate control and green building technologies.
