In a meadow overlooking the majestic Oregon Coast village of Manzanita is a very special development known as “ Villa Del Mare”.

The owner, a resident for over thirty years, envisioned a development like no other for this spectacular site. Each of the nine one-acre lots will have a custom designed, hand crafted home that harmonizes with the land, and with each other. Careful site placement to protect views and privacy is paramount.

Terraforma was retained to design the nine state-of-the-art luxury homes that incorporate the latest in sustainable practices.  Each home was designed to fit into the landscape and take advantage of the sun and views.   Large panes of glass face the south and allow for spectacular views from all rooms, and natural lighting which will be tempered by passive ventilation and shading.  Glass, concrete, stone, and steel frames meet this sometimes rough coastal environment with strength and durability.  Large overhangs shed the water, shade the glass during summer months, and further protect the envelope.
