The modern Oregon Coast vacation home, Ocean Heights, sets pleasantly atop the trees overlooking the Pacific ocean.  If you are looking for a restful spot near the ocean to enjoy a quiet Oregon Coast getaway, look no further.

Ocean Heights, managed by Starfish Vacation Rentals, is a welcomed and tranquil option for family gatherings, romantic weekends, or girlfriend getaways. Nestled in a grove of trees, the tri-level home is located near the ocean with sounds of ocean waves echoing nearby, yet the surroundings are much more woodsy than the typical beachy vibe, giving the overall experience a peaceful appeal over other areas of the Oregon Coast. Staying at Ocean Heights in Manzanita, Oregon is like stepping into a rejuvenating breath of fresh air.

This home will appeal to who enjoy a modern approach to home decorating with bright decor, simple furniture design and open concept dining, living and kitchen. Everything you will need is close at hand, along with gorgeous wooded views throughout the main living areas. The modern fireplace creates a relaxing ambiance that is second to none.

The open concept design makes a great space for entertaining. If you are hoping to host a family gathering or invite local friends for a night in, the open flow between the dining areas, kitchen and living are perfect. The well-stocked kitchen will have everything needed to make a meal to enjoy in the beautiful dining area. The adjacent seating area is also a welcomed 1 for overflow for guests.

Ocean Heights is a great place to host a few friends. Abundant light and sleek, open floor plan, create a relaxing and perfect entertaining space for friends and family. If you are hosting a holiday or Christmas gathering, bring a few details to add a festive flair to the space.

This home is moderately family-friendly, accommodating groups with older children, or those accustomed to living spaces with multiple stairways, glass tables, and balances.

The dining table, which sets in the main living area is glass-top and modern. Crank-out windows in main living area (on the 3rd level) do not have screens. If traveling with children under the age of 3, windows will need to be locked, which can create a ventilation issue on hotter days. Check ahead regarding A/C or fans in warm weather months. There are no extra cribs or sleeping for young children. Dishes and glassware are formal and perfect for entertaining guests, although younger children will need to travel with plastic dinnerware or purchase paper plates.

A cozy window seat adjacent to the kitchen offers a spot to enjoy morning tea of coffee and to rest in the afternoon with a good book. Bring an extra throw for leisurely naps as this space is so comfortable you may find yourself captivated for hours.

Two balconies, one off the master and the other off the main living area, are perfect for soaking in the fresh air. Take a minute to read your favorite book, while cuddled under your favorite Pendleton blanket, or toast in the new year with your special someone. You will leave Ocean Heights feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and ready to re-join the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Ocean Heights comfortably accommodates 7 guests with a master suite and two additional bedrooms. The master suite features a comfortable king bed, private viewing deck, walk-in closet, and elegant en suite bathroom. There are two additional bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and another bathroom on the middle floor. A double futon off the upstairs living space provides accommodations for one more.

WHAT TO DO IN MANZANITA OREGON

Ocean Heights is close to town center of the quaint Manzanita, Oregon. The town has a great assortment of boutique shopping, local restaurants, markets, and a bakery for picking up homemade pie. We recommend purchasing the bulk of your groceries in Tillamook at Fred Meyer or Seaside Safeway prior to arriving in Manzanita. Manzanita Market is great for local breads, baked goods, seafood, produce and specialty items. Nearby beach fronts in Manzanita are quiet with plenty of spots for family picnics, kite flying and photo opportunities.
